An experienced tax specialist has returned back to where she began her career with one of the East of England’s leading firms Moore Thompson.
Claire Bailey-Scott has recently re-joined the firm, which has offices in Spalding, Wisbech and Market Deeping, as a tax manager having originally undergone her training with the practice more than two decades ago.
From 1994 until 2004 Claire trained and then worked at the practice as a tax senior advising private clients on a range of tax issues, including investigations and tax planning.
Her recent appointment to the practice’s Spalding office has been welcomed by the firm’s team, who are delighted to see her return to the tax department.
Mark Hildred, Managing Partner at Moore Thompson, said: “Everyone at Moore Thompson is really happy to see Claire return to the firm.
“As a former trainee and tax senior within the practice she already has a good appreciation of our firm, its values and ethos, as well as an understanding of our clients.”
Claire is a Fellow of the Association of Taxation Technicians and has gained experience at firms across Lincolnshire following her initial departure from Moore Thompson.
In response to her appointment Claire added: “Returning back to my original firm Moore Thompson is really exciting and I am looking forward to assisting clients with a wide range of tax related issues.”
