East of England-based chartered accountants Moore Thompson have raised £300 for the firm’s charitable fund with a quiz night in Spalding.
Organised by Emma Wilson, Laura Cook, Louise Hildred and Laura Grimer from Moore Thompson, the charity quiz took place on Friday, 21st November at Spalding Rugby Club attended by more than 60 people.
The winners of the quiz picked up a £100 prize, while there was also a half-time raffle.
Louise, a trustee of the fund, said: “It was a great evening and all the trustees would like to thank everybody who took part in the quiz, helping to raise money for the charitable fund.
“Money from the event will be donated to a number of deserving causes as decided by the Fund’s board of trustees.
“We hope that with the support of the local community, local business and our staff members we can continue to build a substantial fundraising fund in order to donate to charitable causes across the region and nationally.”
