In 2017 he was nominated for a national award and came runner up in the Money Marketing financial planner of the year awards in the alternative assets category, in 2018 he came runner up in the Investment Companies planner of the year and third place in the Inheritance Tax planner of the year award. 2018 was the last year Money Marketing ran their awards. The money marketing awards were based on submissions of work and an in person viva of a case study set by the awarding body.
