Our initial, one-hour meeting with you is designed for us to find out more about each other, so that you can decide if our service is right for you and we can find out if we can help you. This meeting is at our expense and with no obligation on you or us to go further.
Before we do carry out any work for you, we will clearly explain the costs involved. We will not charge you until:
- you are fully aware of the costs involved
- we have discussed your payment options with you
- we have agreed with you how we are to be paid
- you have given us the go-ahead to carry out the work.
We base our fees on factors including the complexity of the work, the time it takes to research and prepare our recommendations and the expertise and experience we provide.
Our costs can be met in various ways. You can pay us a fee we have agreed in advance or in some cases we can take a payment from the product provider. It may also be possible to use a combination of these options. Our fees are currently free of VAT although this may change in the future.
We may also charge an implementation fee for putting in place a financial product, such as a pension plan. We will always tell you about any payments we receive from product providers and these payments will be reflected in the fees we agree with you.
We offer regular reviews of your financial arrangements, to ensure they continue to meet your needs and priorities over time. Our annual fee for this is typically 0.6 percent of the value of your portfolio, subject to a minimum fee based on the level of service you require.
