A charity quiz held by the in-house charity of Chartered Accountants Moore Thompson has raised more than £300 for good causes.
The evening saw a number of the firm’s partners, staff and friends turnout to take on twelve rounds of trivia in aid of the Moore Thompson Charitable Fund, which raises money for a variety of local and national causes.
With a grand prize of £60 up for grabs the teams slogged it out; with Three men and a ‘lady’!, made up of Adam Wilson, Donna Woodthorpe, Andy Woodthorpe and James Peck, taking first place and the cash prize.
The evening also featured a raffle with prizes donated by Moore Thompson, Amici, Robert Goddard, Linfords, The Loft, The Parrot Zoo and L & D Flowers.
Mark Hildred, Managing Partners at Moore Thompson, said: “Everyone was absolutely delighted with the £306 we raised for the Fund during the evening and the teams all seemed to have lots of fun.
“Set up in 2014 the Moore Thompson Charitable Fund continues to raise hundreds of pounds a month and we are all delighted that it continues to make a difference to the charities that it supports.”
To date the Moore Thompson Charitable Fund has raised around £3,000 through charity events held over the last two years.
